Springvale Rd, Grade Separation Project, Springvale

In April 2013, the State Government awarded the contract for major construction works to a consortium of companies including McConnell Dowell, Balfour Beatty Rail, Parsons Brinckerhoff and Beca. These companies have formed an Alliance with VicRoads, Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) and Public Transport Victoria (PTV).

• Removal of the level crossing on Springvale Road
• A new premium station at Springvale
• Improved bus, taxi, and parking facilities including short term drop-off points (kiss'n'ride) and taxi facilities
• Improved bicycle and pedestrian amenities with a new bicycle and pedestrian path near the station precinct
